Blooma's Professional Services team or users with Admin credentials are able to create custom reporting templates. These templates allow users to export any data or analysis which has been compiled within the Blooma system. Once exported, users can further save, edit and utilize the analysis and data completed in Blooma, off system.
Any file type, formatting, macros, etc. can be used when creating an excel template. All formatting, macros, etc., will not be impacted by the export. The only items that will be impacted by the system when exporting to your template, are the mapped fields.
Blooma has created a unique field id, for every data point in your system. By including the unique field id within your template, you will be able to export the corresponding data. Users can review all of the unique field id's associated with a deal, by navigating the side panel of any deal, and selecting the "Download Data" icon under the "add comment" icon:
Once you have exported the deal data to excel, you will be able to view all of the data field names associated with that deal. Once you have identified the fields you would like to export to your custom excel report, you will need to map the corresponding field name for the data to transmit. For example let's assume you want to map the subject collateral address to a custom report. After utilizing the "Export to Excel" feature for the deal, we can see that the address field name for our desired response is "DealExtract.Deal.address.fullAddress":
Users will take this field name, and paste it into their custom excel report, where they would like for the corresponding address to populate. Once this has been input into your custom excel template, you will just need to surround the field name with a couple of special characters to activate this connection, and let the system know these fields should be overwritten with system data. The added characters on the field name are as follows: ${DealExtract.Deal.address.fullAddress}.
When this template is ultimately exported from the deal, the field shown above, ${DealExtract.Deal.address.fullAddress}, will be replaced with the corresponding address, which in this case is: "3770 Tansy St, San Diego, CA 92121". Any other field, text, etc on your template will not be overwritten or changed. Only fields with those special "${}" symbols.
Finally, once your excel template is complete and you are ready to upload it into your system for use, navigate to the "Admin" section of your Blooma site. This is at the top of every page in the drop down menu:
Next, enter the “Templates” section.
Once in the templates page, you are able to upload new excel templates or download/delete existing templates.
