Depending on the structure of your company, you may want to assign a deal to a specific member of your team. That may be the case if you have designated internal experts for specific asset and loan types, or if you are a manager looking to allocate work across your team. Please note that you must have "admin" credentials to be able to assign Deals to different users.
Assigning a Deal requires that a Deal has already been created. The Deal will initially be assigned to the individual who created that Deal. Once the Deal has been created, there are two ways you can assign that Deal.
1. Assigning from the Pipeline - Deals can be assigned from the Pipeline. To do this, select the "Deals" icon at the top of the page. The Deals will need to be displayed in the "List View" to display additional editing options (Please refer to the Pipeline section of the FAQ if you are unsure how to toggle to the list vs. card view). Once open, navigate to the Deal you would like to assign, and select the vertical triple-dot on the right-hand side of the Deal:
That will then prompt an action window to open. Select "Reassign Deal" within this window and select the user you would like to assign the Deal to.
Once you have selected a new user, the Deal will be assigned to that user, and will be displayed on their "My Deals" page.
2. Assigning from the Deal Summary page - Deals can also be assigned directly from the Deal Summary page. Once you have navigated to the desired Deal, click on the vertical triple-dot to open the Deal Menu on the right side of the page. Locate and select the "Owner" drop-down. You can now assign the Deal to a new user, and the Deal will be displayed on that user's "My Deals" page.
